Progress being made on the Little Caesars Arena with help from Alta Equipment Company

Alta Rents has provided several units in order to assist with the construction of the new Detroit basketball and hockey arena opening this September.

The Little Caesars Arena has been a buzz of activity, and many
of the needs that have arisen continue to be met consistently by Alta Equipment
Company. Alta has had up to 150 rental construction units in and around
the stadium throughout the course of the massive undertaking. The stadium will house the
Detroit Pistons and the Detroit Red Wings when completed this September. Rob Chiles, President of Alta’s
Construction Group, recently visited the construction site where Alta’s
equipment is being used to ensure efficiency of these units. During inspection
of the units Chiles met with Mickey Redmond, former Red Wing All-Star and current color analyst for the Detroit Red Wings. In 1972-1973
Redmond became the first Red Wing player to score fifty goals in one season. Today
he is provides expert analysis on strategy, injury
reports, and detailed statistics on the team.

Alta stood
out as a top choice in helping contractors meet the demanding requirements of
the arena construction project. Alta’s certification as a
Detroit-Based Business (DBB) has been key to our success during
construction of the new arena. Alta is the only construction and
industrial equipment dealer to have a location within Detroit and
meet other stringent qualifications for the certification. Because of this
Alta was able to apply for and receive the designation of being a DBB. This has
provided Alta with a competitive advantage as contractors receive
equalization credits for working with companies that have the DBB
Certification. Alta is now in the second year of having this distinguishing
accolade, allowing us to keep penetrating previously inaccessible markets.
